What is Gang Run Printing?
Gang run printing is an industry term for grouping orders on the same sheet of paper. By grouping together orders we can offer our customers a better price. Gang run printing saves both time and money.
Can I get less than 1,000 cards with Gang Run printing?
We can ship less then 1,000 cards using gang run printing. However, due to the way this print model functions, we are unable to offer a lower price for a lesser quantity.
I am ordering business cards for several people. Can I split up the run so I get smaller quantities of each card name?
With a gang run, each card takes up its own position on the sheet so we are not able to split quantities. If you are looking to print a couple of names then the gang run will be your best option. However, if you have 4 names or more then we suggest looking at your own print run. We also offer an option to print shells for your business cards. If you are regularly ordering business cards for a variety of people, then printing shells may be a better option for you. Contact us to ask if printing shells may work for you.
Can I get a different paper stock?
In order to get the prices for the gang run cards that we list on our website, we must run everything on the same paper stock. We do offer other choices of stock for our brochures, presentation folders and stationary. If you require or prefer a different paper stock, we can arrange a custom order. Contact us and we would be happy to provide you with a quote.
Can you design my print project for me?
No; we do not currently offer design services. However, we do have a list of quality designers available. If you require design services, contact us and we can recommend someone to fit your requirements.
What if I am not satisfied with my completed print job?
We want you to be happy. We print in accordance with industry wide standards for color and registration. If you are not satisfied with the final product, we will do our best to resolve the situation. We are not responsible for customer errors, such as incorrect copy or poor photography. Please carefully check your files before you send them as well as any proofs we may send you to ensure your print job comes out the way you expect it.
What type of files do you accept?
We accept files prepared in all of the industry standard applications for both Mac and PCs. Our preferred method to receive files is a PDF with crop marks and 1/8” bleeds. Please see our File Specifications page for a complete list. Please note, we do not accept Microsoft documents.
How do I send you my files?
Files may be submitted by email, FTP, courier, mail or through our website. We are unable to accept files larger than 10mb by email. Files larger than this should uploaded though our site or by FTP. For complete details, click here.
Do you supply a proof of my print project?
For cards run on the gang run, we only supply proofs if a PDF file is not supplied. We do run a preflight on all PDFs received to ensure there are no issues with the file. If we have any concerns about the files supplied, you will be contacted and/or sent a PDF of the pre-flighted file to approve. For other print runs like brochures and presentation folders we can supply a press proof; however, depending on were you are located there may be additional shipping costs and time delays for sending proofs.
